Not at all absorbent (I washex without fabric softener, as is the case with all of my towels, before use). I guess I might just put it in my carry-on suitcase so it's there if I forget to to pack something else to dry my hair. Don't bother purchasing this one -- if you're needing a hair towel, for for The Perfect Haircare Company."
