Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) PLA is biodegradable and derived from renewable, organic sources such as corn starch or sugarcane. (Please note that some biodegradable products may break more easily and/or experience more paint chipping). Its carbon footprint is smaller than for many traditional plastics. The product is intended for styling, not heavy detangling. Use the brush after the hair has been detangled.
