Directions
- Detangle Hair: Start by detangling your hair.
- Apply Products: Apply styling creams and gels to your hair.
- Section Hair: Divide your hair into sections.
- Brush Hair: Tilt the brush at the roots so the hair falls into the grooves, separating as you brush.
- Repeat: Continue brushing through all sections.
- Front edge and handle coiling
- Scrunch & Dry: Scrunch your curls, then diffuse or air dry.
Cleaning Instructions:
- Remove hair from the bristles using your hands or a cleaning comb.
- Spray cleaner (e.g., alcohol, Barbicide, or Bounce Curl Turmeric Purifying Hair & Scalp Mask).
- Let the cleaner sit on the brush for a maximum of 10 minutes, then rinse.
- Air dry completely before use.

Literally was hoping that it didn’t work because $30 on a brush seemed steep to me. I regret to inform you all that it is worth the hype. In the black top is how my hair normally looks with my regular styling routine. In the blueish top is my hair after using this brush for the first time + as instructed. Usually I get 1–2 good days out the old method which is why I prefer to heat style. Tell me why my hair lasted 4 days?!?! On day 3 my hair still looked amazing & all my friends asked me what I did differently! If you are thinking about getting it, do it. You might think that it’s too much work to separate the hair but literally it takes me longer to blowout or flat iron my hair than to style and diffuse afterwards with this brush. Will be purchasing more for my friends and even my boyfriend’s 4c hair (probably the volume one). No regrets. The brush is high quality, has a good hand feel, and doesn’t slip out the hand. You can tell the bristles are going to last as well. I would also suggest purchasing on here vs amazon so you can get some loyalty points. Sure there are dupes out there but what’s the saying? “Often imitated, but never replicated.”
This brush is now part of my routine. I have wavy/curly hair in a short bob. I watched the videos and learned how to use it around my whole head. Then I twist curl the top layer.
I never ever leave reviews. But this bouncy Curl brush is absolutely amazing. I have tried every curl product in the book. I have tried every method and manner of getting beautiful separated curls. Nothing worked.!! I tell this little piece of magic showed up in the mail and now all I have to do is comb my hair in the correct manner as instructed which is super easy then I use the diffuser and it looks like it was just done professionally. I am so glad I bought this. !!
Genuinely changed the game more than any product, cream, gel, plop method, bowl method, you name it. SO worth it, literally telling anyone/everyone about this brush. And seems like an awesome small biz to support!
This brush works really well on my wavy hair. I do need to make sure I have enough water and curl creme in my hair, or using it will pull the waves out. I follow with a gel for hold, and it's impressive. Other brushes for the same purpose have not worked.
