If we find an option to create something without plastic that actually performs well, Bounce Curl will offer those products instead. Our brushes are contain biodegradable materials. Our vegan hairbrushes and combs are animal-free; they do not contain animal ingredients or byproducts and are cruelty-free (no animal testing!).
Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) PLA is biodegradable and derived from renewable, organic sources such as corn starch or sugarcane. (Please note that some biodegradable products may break easier and/or experience more paint chipping). Its carbon footprint is smaller than for many traditional plastics.

This brush is the best thing I have ever used. I have tried multiple brushes and they would ALWAYS pull on my roots. I have LOT of hair and it gets tangled easily so for years I have just slowly combed out my hair. Sometimes it would take 15 plus minutes just for me to comb my hair and get the knots out. When I say this brush goes through my hair like butter - I MEAN IT. This brush has saved me so much time and this brush DOES not rip out my hair either! This brush causes little to no tug on my scalp and gets through the knots very easily! I have already recommended it to my family and for their little ones. Please do yourself a favor and give your scalp a break from all that tugging. Get this brush and go ahead and get another one just in case some one takes it! My cousin had a Bounce brush for detangling her very curly hair. I actually have very straight, fine hair that tangles easily when wet. I love this bounce brush to untangle my wet hair quickly. 😊
